Mr. Crews is a native of Huntington, West Virginia. He attended West Virginia University where he received his B.S. in 1964 and his J.D. in 1967. He continued his legal studies at Washington University, earning an LL.M. in Taxation in 1971. In 1967, he was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar, and in 1971 to the U. S. Tax Court.
